US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that there are signs that the war with Iran is ending.

Speaking to Fox News, he claimed that a direct meeting with Iran could happen at any time.

‘Talks are ongoing, a direct meeting could happen at any time,’ Rubio said, ‘We are always ready for it.’

However, he said that US President Donald Trump will not have a fake or sham negotiation with Iran.

‘President Trump does not want to see Iran get away with a fake or sham negotiation,’ Rubio said. He also mentioned that the ‘finish line’ of ending the war is in sight.

Rubio said, ‘I don’t want to set a deadline, but the finish line is in sight.’

Earlier, President Trump had said that the US would withdraw from Iran within two to three weeks.
