India will assist in rescuing citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka in Tehran

The Indian Embassy in Iran has said that it will take initiatives to rescue the citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka. The Embassy said that this effort will be made at the request of the Government of Nepal and Sri Lanka.

"At the request of the Government of Nepal and Sri Lanka, the Indian Embassy in Iran will also rescue the citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka," wrote the Indian Embassy in Iran.

In view of the deteriorating situation due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, the Indian government has launched 'Operation Sindhu' to rescue Indian citizens from Iran.

According to Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, 517 Indian citizens have returned home from Iran under 'Operation Sindhu'.

X, Jaiswal wrote, 'Operation Sindhu continues. A special rescue flight from Ashgabat, Turkmenistan landed in New Delhi at 3 am on June 21. So far, 517 Indian citizens have returned home from Iran under 'Operation Sindhu'.

The conflict between Israel and Iran entered the ninth day on Saturday. The conflict began on June 13, when Israel carried out a massive airstrike against Iranian military and nuclear sites, dubbed 'Operation Rising Lion'.

In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a drone and missile attack called "Operation True Promise 3" targeting Israeli fighter jet fuel production centers and energy supply centers.
