The closed session of the Nepali Congress (NCC) has been postponed after the names of MPs and central members were left out of the general convention delegates. A leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) said that the closed session has been postponed to include the missing MPs, central representatives and district leaders. According to the leader, the names of more than 10 MPs and central leaders have been found to be missing.

The general convention was inaugurated on Sunday by President Ravi Lamichhane and senior leader and Prime Minister Balendra Shah.
