Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has admitted that the political culture of following political party leaders as 'God' and 'Ba' has led to wrong results. Addressing the inaugural session of the first national convention of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Bharatpur, Chitwan, he said that the country's politics has become complicated due to the delay in developing the culture of questioning leaders within the party. He admitted that the Congress was late in identifying its weaknesses and said that it is still paying the political price for it. He urged the RSSP members to learn from the past weaknesses of other political parties. He urged them to move forward. 'We have made mistakes by making our party leaders as Gods, we have made mistakes by making them as Ba's, you should not do the same. When we make mistakes, question your own leaders too. We were late, that's why we got punished. We should have said earlier that our party is not a party of corpses and slaves, but we couldn't. We were late. "I want to tell every member of the National Independent Party, 'Learn from that too,'" he said.
