Shah's swearing-in date set as Prime Minister

Following discussions among top leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) party, it has been decided that senior leader Balendra Shah will take the oath of office as Prime Minister on Chaitra 13 after the oath-taking of the MPs on the 12th. The ministers will also be sworn in along with the Prime Minister.

The date for the swearing-in of senior leader of the National Independent Party Balendra Shah as Prime Minister has been fixed.

The date for Shah to take oath as Prime Minister has been fixed after discussions between RSP President Ravi Lamichhane, senior leader Shah and vice-presidents DP Aryal and Swarnim Wagle.

According to RSP Vice-President Wagle, Shah has been scheduled to take oath as Prime Minister on Chaitra 13. 'The oath-taking of MPs will be done on Chaitra 12, the oath-taking of the Prime Minister will be done on Chaitra 13,' Vice-President Wagle said.

Wagle had earlier informed that discussions had taken place between four leaders of the party regarding 'political affairs'.

The MPs are scheduled to take oath at 2 pm on Chaitra 12. It has been decided that Shah will take oath as Prime Minister on Chaitra 13 only after taking the oath of MPs.

Preparations are underway to administer the oath of office to the ministers on Chaitra 13 itself in a discussion among top leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
