The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has fielded Bodh Narayan Shrestha as its candidate for the House of Representatives in Dhading-2. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane officially handed over the election ticket to Shrestha on Saturday.

Shrestha, who is a permanent resident of Maidi, Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-2, Dhading, is also the deputy head of the central organization department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He has long experience working at a high level at the United Nations agency UNICEF and recently entered politics. Shrestha, who is also active in social service, played an important role in operating a drinking water project in the drought-stricken areas of Dhading.

Other parties have also started finalizing their candidates in Dhading-2. UML has fielded Dhan Bahadur Ghale, while the Nepali Communist Party has fielded Ram Bahadur Bhandari. However, the Nepali Congress has not yet finalized its candidate.
