UML Vice President Bishnu Poudel will be contesting from Rupandehi 2.

The secretariat meeting on Saturday decided to field him from Palpa 2.

Leader Khimlal Bhattarai said that Poudel would be a candidate from Rupandehi 2. He told Kantipur, ‘Now Bishnu Poudel will be a candidate from Rupandehi 2.’

He had won from this constituency in the last election.

UML Vice-President Poudel started his parliamentary journey from Palpa in 2051 BS. Poudel, who has been contesting elections from Rupandehi since 2056 BS, is going to contest elections from the same constituency this time too. He has been a minister eight times.
