The National Independent Party is going to field Gyanendra Mahata as its candidate from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 3.

The Rashtriya Swatantra Party has given Mahata a ticket from Kanchanpur-3 for the upcoming elections to be held on Falgun 21.

Mahata has informed that he has been nominated. He was given the ticket on Sunday evening. 'I am deeply grateful for the trust and responsibility expressed by the National Independent Party in giving me a ticket as a candidate for the House of Representatives from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 3,' Mahata said.

Mahata has expressed his commitment to move forward honestly for good governance, transparency and people-responsive politics, while imbibing the trust, expectations and dreams of the people of Kanchanpur Constituency No. 3.
