Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah, who has become a senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has resigned from his position and reached the party office directly.
The central committee meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be held today. After the meeting, Shah and other leaders, along with party president Rabi Lamichhane, are preparing to leave for the election program to be organized in Janakpur at 5 pm.
A 7-point agreement was reached between the RSS and Shah on Poush 13. According to the agreement, Shah was mentioned to be the RSS's candidate for Prime Minister in the upcoming elections.
