Balendra, who is campaigning in the parliamentary elections, is preparing to resign from the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Magh 4.
Preparations are underway to rent three houses in Jhapa-5 for Balendra Shah and his team, who are preparing to file their candidacy from Jhapa Constituency No. 5.
According to Prakash Pathak, President of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Jhapa, it has been decided to take one of the houses in Damak Municipality-3. ‘As at least 45 people are staying here continuously for the election preparations of our party’s senior leader Balendra Shah, work is underway to find three houses,’ he told Kantipur. ‘One of them has almost been decided.’
Preparations are being made to enter into a rental agreement for an empty house in Damak Municipality-3. ‘15 people will live in this house, and 15 each will live in the remaining two houses,’ Pathak said.
Balendra, who is contesting the parliamentary elections, is preparing to resign from the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Magh 4. After that, he plans to reach Jhapa-5 via Janakpur and file his candidacy.
