Minister for Communications Jagadish Kharel, who is also the government spokesperson, has met with NCP coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Minister Kharel met with Dahal at his residence in Hattivan on Friday.

Sources said that Minister Kharel, who is also a member of the government's political dialogue committee, met Dahal and discussed contemporary political issues. 

It is said that the meeting discussed preparations for the upcoming House of Representatives elections, creating an election environment, and establishing consensus among major parties. Earlier, Minister Kharel had also met with Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli. 

The meeting, which took place at a time when preparations are being made for the House of Representatives elections, is being seen as an attempt to find consensus among political parties.
