The toxic image in the society is public

When injustice and atrocities are committed in the name of religion, then the sanctity of that religion is also affected. A news article published in Kantipur titled 'Uthibasa wearing a dozer in the house of a Dalit to perform Maha Yajna' has shown that hypocrisy and discrimination still exist in the society in the name of religion.

Bulldozing Dalit families, especially Deepak Malik Dom and his family, in the name of organizing a Maha Yagya cannot be a religious act in any way. It is a brutal tyranny, it is also against the basic teachings of Sanatan Dharma which gives equal respect to all sections of the society.

Doing such discriminatory activities in the name of religion is a sign of barbarism. People of all castes, religions and communities should be accepted equally in a sacred act like Yajna. But when Yagya is conducted in the same place by dissolving the poison of discrimination and forcing Dalits to leave their homes, then it is not religion, it is stigmatized in the name of religion. The act of making Dalit families homeless has also shown the toxic picture of discrimination and caste discrimination in the society.

If the organizers of the Yagya are truly religious, they must atone for the sin of leaving a family of 7 homeless. Also, there should be no delay in taking legal action against Dalit families.

Now the question arises - will such hypocrisy in the name of religion be tolerated forever? Should we still be deceived by such hypocrites? True followers of religion, intellectual community and justice-loving citizens should no longer remain silent. Such religious hypocrisy spread in the society must be exposed.

The defense of religion is the defense of true justice, never the glorification of hypocrites.
