Future destination stable government, strong economy

An open data system that can easily see the progress of planning and work should be developed. To reduce the dependence on foreign employment, provision of subsidies or tax breaks for startups and innovation is the need of the moment.

We went to the streets to say that corruption should end from within the system. Eliminating political corruption was our main agenda. Shutting down social media was trying to stop our freedom of speech, which was not acceptable.

We were concerned that the youth should get jobs in Nepal according to their abilities and skills. Now in our country there is no place to get a permanent job except through public service. Our generation was and still is focused on how to increase employment in the country.

Our generation or the first task after we reach leadership is to communicate with the youth. Their wants and needs should be understood. Those who lead every ministry will now have to understand the will-power of skilled youth and skilled people. There should be a deep study and implementation on how to use their potential in the development of the country. In this way, the first thing to do is to create an environment to provide work according to ability and interest in the country.

We need to focus on how GDP grows. We have to work in the field of production. Now the farmers are suffering even in basic matters like fertilizers and seeds. Structural reforms such as irrigation, storage, market access and price stability should be prioritized.

So far, politicians have only divided us by talking about rights. Sometimes it is a matter of geography and sometimes it is a matter of caste. In the days to come we will have to move on to how to facilitate the general subject. An open data system should be developed where planning and work progress can be easily monitored. In order to reduce dependence on foreign employment, provision of subsidies or tax exemptions for startups and innovation is the need of the moment.

I'm a student of public health, so I know more about this subject than anyone else. Looking at the current state of our health sector and hospitals, there is a great need for legal reforms. We should improve not only the existing structure, but also the quality of service.

Now people in rural areas have to go to the headquarters for treatment. This situation must change. Even though there is a hospital, there seems to be a lack of manpower including equipment to provide the said services.

There is a situation in the health sector where people have to go abroad to study. Care should be taken to provide them with quality education environment. Why can't a new medical college be added? Why can't the number of good hospitals in rural areas be increased? Finding answers to these questions requires strengthening the health sector legally and politically.

There are still many distortions in the health sector of Nepal. It is uncomfortable and unfair for the general public that the medicine prescribed by the doctor is usually available only in certain pharmacies recommended by him. This increases patient treatment costs and reduces freedom of choice. The government should prepare clear standards to control it.

There is a need for a policy to bring transparency in the drug distribution system, stop unethical financial transactions between doctors and drug dealers, and make the price and availability of each drug public. Active monitoring and strict enforcement by the regulatory bodies has now become indispensable to provide affordable and quality medicines to all citizens easily.

Even though the subject i.e. curriculum is the same in Nepal, there is a big difference in the fees set by different universities. Such disparities make it difficult for many students to pursue higher education. There is a need for a clear policy led by the government to bring uniformity in the fees of all universities.

This problem is not limited to universities. Fees of private schools also seem to vary. The government should grade the private schools on the basis of services and quality, and determine the limit of fees that each grade of school can charge. It stops the fun of education. I am your man. In rural areas including our Tarai, the school situation is even more challenging.

In some places, government school students are studying by sitting on temporary towers. This shows the physical structure of the education sector and what is our condition in terms of quality education. The government needs to make a deep blueprint for reforming government schools.

It is necessary to move the long-term plan forward immediately along with similar improvements in the physical infrastructure of government schools, the arrangement of skilled teachers and the quality of the curriculum. Ensuring equality and quality in the education sector is the basis for the overall development of the country.

It is essential to reduce imported goods for the economic balance of the country. The first priority is to produce goods that can be produced immediately in the country. By using the manpower and resources we have effectively, many goods can be made in the country. Reducing dependence on imports by increasing local production in areas such as agriculture, small scale industries, and energy is the current need. It is necessary to create an open environment legally.

In Nepal, there is a tendency to charge VAT repeatedly on the same item at different stages. The final price is artificially inflated due to double or multi-level VAT at every stage from production to distribution. This has put an unnecessary burden on consumers and has become one of the major reasons for price hikes in the market. The government needs to make the VAT system simple and transparent, ensure that there is no double taxation on the same item and tighten monitoring.

The private sector is the backbone of economic development. The government should identify their problems and create a comfortable and transparent environment for their solutions. It is imperative to create a business friendly environment in all areas from policy making to tax system. Legal protection and sustained policy stability are essential to ensure that entrepreneurs' investments are safe.

Encouraging the private sector to increase production and employment, introduce technology and expand exports will greatly contribute to the prosperity of the overall economy. We should also bring in foreign investment. When it comes to government services, our service system is still very complicated. It is now imperative to move it digitally. Since the digital system brings transparency, it also helps to reduce corruption.

There is a risk that religious or ethnic violence could flare up when we restart the debate on the nature of federalism. For example, the naming of the Koshi region may lead to controversy over the proposal of Limbuwan, Kirat or other names. Such a debate could push the country back into conflict. So it is wise to operate the current structure cautiously while maintaining stability in the current situation. In the

province, many people are of the opinion that the need for proportional representation and its effectiveness needs to be reconsidered. It should be removed proportionately in the province. Instead, a deep study and public dialogue is necessary to include the system of direct executive head of state in the constitution, which makes the executive responsibility clear. The younger generation wants a direct executive.
