Bird flu (H5N1) in birds has spread to 11 districts. According to the data of the Department of Animal Services, bird flu has been confirmed in Kavre for the last time. Bird flu has been confirmed in chickens and ducks from 2 farms in Sanga and Panauti in Kavre.
According to the Director General of the Department, Dr. Umesh Dahal, so far bird flu has been confirmed in a total of 82 places in 11 districts including Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Mahottari, Bara, Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kavre.
