Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Ravi Lamichhane has accused the RSS of a conspiracy after the formation of the government in the coalition of UML and Congress. He has alleged that political vendetta was launched against the RSSS and himself after the formation of the coalition government in 2081 Shrawan. In his political report presented at the ongoing general convention in Bharatpur, he mentioned that unfair allegations such as cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering were leveled against him, contrary to the conclusions of the Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee. ‘As soon as the UML and Congress government was formed, naked political vendetta began against me and institutional mechanisms were used for that,’ he said, ‘New cases were added and prosecuted one after another. Jail transfers were made overnight, last wishes were asked. All three organs of the state were misused against us.’
He said that the decision of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee was made a political tool. "The executive branch has become a factory of atrocities, and even the judiciary has been misused. Selective justice has been done," he said in the report. "Our party and leadership were trapped in such a twisted and complex legal, political and institutional maze that the conspirators concluded that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was finished."
