The election for the National Independent Party (NISP) Bagmati Province convention is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on Saturday. The convention inaugurated in Hetauda on Wednesday was postponed due to a dispute between delegates.

The commission has fixed the voting date after completing all the technical work (voter roll verification, adjustment list management and technical testing) under the election process, which was postponed on Jestha 27 due to technical and administrative reasons.
According to the commission, the voting will be held from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday at the Smart Durbar (Shankh Park) in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.

Elections will be held in the second phase for the posts of Vice President, General Secretary and Joint General Secretary of the province. Since there is a provision that members must be elected to these positions to become candidates, re-elections will be held in the second phase. According to Central Election Commission Chief KC, there are 1,100 voters in the provincial elections.
