President Poudel has removed Secretary Rai from his post on the recommendation of Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal on Monday, said Ritesh Kumar Shakya, spokesperson of the Office of the President.
'President Ramchandra Poudel, on the recommendation of Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal on 2083/01/28, has removed Harkaraj Rai from the post of Secretary of the House of Representatives with effect from 2083/01/29, pursuant to Section 6 (e) of the Act on the Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of the Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Secretary of the House of Representatives and Secretary of the National Assembly, 2075 BS,' Spokesperson Shakya said in a statement.
Rai was appointed Secretary of the House of Representatives on 16 Poush 2081 BS.
