Mrs. Seema Golchha had filed a petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of Golchha, who is in custody for investigation into money laundering. The second hearing of the petition registered on April 14 has not yet been held.
On April 15, a bench of Justice Nripadhwaj Niraula had ordered that the habeas corpus petitioner be present within 24 hours. Although the habeas corpus was scheduled for April 16 and 17, the hearing was postponed due to the inability to attend and the inability to meet. Golchha was arrested on April 10.
