'Nepal has taken this development as a positive step to promote peace and stability in the region, and has reiterated its permanent stance in favor of peaceful resolution of disputes,' the statement said. Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis arising from the conflict. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that the safety of the general public should be ensured.
