The second meeting of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) held on Sunday approved the Balendra Shah faction in the Central Committee.

The National Independent Party has approved 26 people as central members, including Balendra Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and the party's declared candidate for Prime Minister after the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

 

The second meeting of the central committee held on Sunday evening approved 26 people, including Shah, as central committee members, said spokesperson Manish Jha. 'This meeting has approved 26 people, including Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah, as central committee members,' Jha said.  

The first central committee meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held today approved 7 people from Bibeksheel Sajha as central committee members.  

On Poush 13, there was an agreement between the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Balendra Shah to move forward unitedly.   According to the same agreement, it was agreed that Balendra would be made the prime minister if he gets a majority after the upcoming elections.
