According to the details released by the embassy, ​​the deceased were Churna Bahadur Pun of Ghorahi, Dang, Lil Bahadur Katwal (Vivek Chhetri) of Dudhauli, Sindhuli, Sabin Bishwakarma of Jhapa, Manoj Jhora of Dadeldhura and Tikaram BK. Vivek Chhetri of Dudhauli had been working in a nightclub in Goa for five years as part of his employment.

Indian authorities have said that a total of 25 people died in the fire incident, including five tourists. Goa's fire chief Nitin V. Raikar told Indian broadcaster 'CNN News 18' that many people lost their lives as smoke spread throughout the building and many people were unable to escape. He says the building was quickly engulfed in smoke after the fire spread to the wooden structure during a 'fire show' during a party.
