An agreement is about to be reached between the government and some groups of Gen-G regarding the protests led by Gen-G on Bhadra 23 and 24. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the government is going to reach an agreement with groups including the Gen-G Movement Alliance, The Council of Gen-G (Sudhan Gurung Group) and Gen-G Front (Raksha Bam Group) at 4 pm on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat has stated that Prime Minister Sushila Karki will be present at the agreement program on behalf of the government. The agreement between the government and Gen-G has been prepared by representatives of the government and Gen-G. Surya Dhungel and others were appointed as the drafters of the agreement on behalf of the government and senior advocate Raju Chapagain on behalf of the Gen-G group.

'The mechanism will be asked to submit a report within 90 days and the report will be made public and the recommendations mentioned in the report will be implemented immediately.'
A commitment has also been made to ensure that the upcoming elections announced on Falgun 21 will be free, fair, peaceful and fear-free. An agreement is also to be reached between the government and the Gen-G party on additional legal arrangements related to the elections. 'The minimum age for running for membership of the House of Representatives, Provincial Assembly and local level will be 21 years. The final draft of the agreement states that the structure and appointment process of the commissions and officials will be improved to keep the judiciary, Constitutional Council, Constitutional Commission and Judicial Council of Nepal, as provided for in the Constitution of Nepal, completely free from political and partisan interference and to enable them to perform their duties autonomously and independently and to ensure the representation of youth.
