A corruption case has been filed against six people, including Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Pradeep Adhikari and former Director Bhandari. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed the case in the Special Court on Wednesday, fixing a fine of around Rs 130 million.
The CIAA had investigated the allegations of irregularities in the construction of a helipad in Nalinchowk, Bhaktapur. The charge sheet filed by the CIAA in the special court states that the project was built without an EIA and irregularities in the construction were established.
