While the UML is saying it will announce a National Volunteer Force, a group is protesting in Maitighar Mandal, claiming that the Gen-G group is injured. The rally that the UML took out from Tinkune has already left for Maitighar.

Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to announce the force. UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali says that the force is being announced due to the increased security threat to leaders.
