After initial discussions among the flood victims' struggle committee to open the source of the Melamchi Drinking Water Project failed on Sunday, discussions resumed on Monday.

According to Rajkumar Bhandari, a representative of the Melamchi Water Supply and Flood Victims Struggle Committee, discussions have begun at 11 am on Monday with demands for the implementation of agreements made in the past between the Ministry of Water Supply and Melamchi Water Supply.

'In the discussions held at the ministry, it was agreed to hold a decisive meeting at 11 am on Monday to operate Melamchi water,' and we are adamant on our demand,' Bhandari said.
