A complaint has been filed with the police on behalf of the Supreme Court and District Court, Kathmandu, which were subjected to arson and vandalism during the Gen-G movement and demonstration.

According to Kathmandu Police Spokesperson SP Pawan Bhattarai, the complaint has been registered and the investigation has been initiated. Even before the complaint was filed, the police were investigating the incidents of 24 Bhadra, including the burning of the court.

The vandalism and arson that occurred on 24 Bhadra damaged 23 courts across the country, including the Supreme Court and Kathmandu District Court. 10 courts were completely damaged, 9 partially damaged, and 4 courts suffered minor damage. Despite the arson and vandalism, most courts have now resumed their normal administration of justice.
