Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that there should be continuous discussion and exchange of ideas between the government, political parties and Gen-G groups. In a tripartite discussion held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar today, Prime Minister Karki urged the participants to have adequate discussions among themselves as all Nepalis need to face Nepal's problems together.

According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Prime Minister Karki said at the beginning of the dialogue, 'Let's exchange all ideas. The country is ours, we will build it, if we don't build it, no one will build it. It won't happen with a one-time conversation, it has to happen repeatedly. We have started it and let's continue it.' Prime Minister Karki held the first and most important discussion of this kind to create an atmosphere for the election.

Representatives of the Gen-G group participating in the discussion argued that elections are needed and should be held, but elections should not be just elections, and emphasized that the government should pay equal attention to the work of taking action against corruption as the main demand of the movement is good governance. Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel has held a press briefing on the topics raised and the conclusions of the discussion. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Dr. Mahabir Pun and Minister for Communications, Information and Technology Jagadish Kharel, party leaders Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Barshaman Pun, Madhav Sapkota, Prakash Adhikari, Deepak Karki, Prakash Jwala, Rajendra Pandey, Mohan Shrestha, Rajendra Gurung, Nisha Dangi, Swarnim Wagle, Mahesh Bartaula, Kshitij Thebe, Basant Kushwaha, Prakash Sharan Mahat and from Genji Miraj Dhungana, Vivek Dahal, James Karki, Amit Khanal and Rajan Rana Magar participated.
