Prime Minister Sushila Karki is about to remove the name of Khagendra Sunar, who was recommended by her for the post of Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security.
The Prime Minister is set to remove Sunar's name after it was made public that the case was pending from the district court to the Supreme Court. According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, preparations are underway to have only three people besides Sunar take oath on Sunday.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat said, 'The Prime Minister is reconsidering after the controversy in his name became public.'
According to the Secretariat, the oath-taking of the remaining three people, excluding Sunar, has been scheduled for 2:30 pm today. Dr. Sudha Sharma Gautam will be the Minister of Health and Population, Ganapati Lal Shrestha will be the Minister of Land Management and Cooperatives, and Bablu Gupta will be the Minister of Youth and Sports.
