A dozen complaints have been registered till Sunday in the commission formed to investigate the incidents of 23 and 24 August. According to the commission, two private sector companies have filed a complaint with details of the damage. There are other complaints filed individually.

In the complaint, it is claimed that the Nakkhu prison was vandalized to bring Lamichhane out.
It has been demanded in the complaint to see the video footages on social media about the incidents of both days . In Kathmandu valley, the police personnel including the police communication commander assigned to the police control room, which transmits the orders from the upper level to the lower level, have also been requested to take statements.
Similarly, Bhatbhateni has filed a complaint with a claim of more than 11 billion in damages. Bhatbhateni said that 20 stores were damaged, including 12 that were completely destroyed. It has been claimed that materials worth more than 500 million have been stolen and vandalized so that they cannot be used. Kathmandu's Global College has also filed a complaint with the commission. The protestors set fire to the college where the leader's children study.
