Dozens of fake IDs have been opened on the social network Facebook in the name of Prime Minister Sushila Karki. After the fake 'account' started to be opened in the name of the Prime Minister, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers announced the official 'account' through a statement on Sunday.

After the Cabinet Office mentioned that the Prime Minister's official Facebook name will be 'PM Sushila Karki', dozens of fake IDs have been opened under the same name. By the time this content was prepared, by typing 'PM Sushila Karki' in English and searching for 'People', 29 'accounts' were found  . 

of which most of the accounts are opened immediately . By the time this content is prepared, the Prime Minister's official Facebook account has reached 13,000 followers and more than 3,000 followers on X.

How many fake accounts of which minister?

There are not only 'fake' accounts in the name of the Prime Minister, dozens of fake accounts have also been opened in the name of Minister Kulman Ghising, who is holding three ministries including the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport. Kulman currently holds the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation and Urban Development along with Physical . 

A fake account was opened in the name of Ghising since he was the managing director of Nepal Electricity Authority. Now, after becoming a minister, that number seems to have increased. Dozens of 'accounts' have been opened on Facebook and X, using Ghising's picture and name. which has thousands of followers . Searching for 'People' by typing 'Kulman Ghising' in English in the search bar of Facebook, 12 'accounts' using Kulman's photo were found on Facebook. Similarly, 13 'accounts' were found when searching X. 

Similarly, when searching for 'user' by typing 'Kulman Ghising' in English in the search bar of the social network Tiktok, 21 'accounts' were found using his photo . One of the 21 accounts has 22,000 followers. But that's not official . Till the time of preparing this content, his official account ' @kmghising ' has 3 thousand 88 followers. 

We contacted Kulman's personal secretary Sachen Gautam to find out which is Kulman Ghising's official 'account'. According to him, Minister Ghisingh's official Facebook account has 26 thousand followers. He said, "many 'accounts' have been opened in his name". You sometimes post on Facebook. You are not that active on X.'

The top 'account' found on X has more than 23,000 followers as of the time of preparing this news. But that's not official . His official account ' @KMGhising ' has only 2 thousand 581 followers.

There is a fake page on Facebook in the name of Finance Minister Rameshwar Prasad Khanal. Various contents have been posted from the page named ' Rameshwar Khanal fans '. In this page which contains various posts related to the Ministry of Finance  66 thousand followers.

It seems that this page has been operating since 2014. Looking at the 'page transparency history', the name of this page has been changed five times so far. This page is not the official page of Minister Khanal.

Till the time of preparing this content, Mantri Khanal's official Rameshore Khanal account has 36 thousand followers .

Similarly, the Minister of Education, Science and Technology  When Mahavir Pun's name was typed in English in Facebook's search bar and searched in People, an account named "Dr. Mahavir Pun-Vision for the Future" was found. Apart from that, no other account was found . 

Similarly, when searching on X, it was found that two accounts were operating in the name of two 'Mahavir Pun'. But those accounts are not active . Until this content is prepared, Minister Pun's official Facebook account has more than 661 thousand followers on and 282 thousand followers on x .

Home Minister Omprakash Aryal, Anil Kumar Sinha holding three ministries including the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Agriculture Minister Madan Prasad Periyar and Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel were not found to have fake accounts.

Ministers of the cabinet formed after the 23rd Gen-ji movement have been giving information from their own personal 'accounts'. All but a few official 'accounts' of the ministry seem inactive. 

The prime minister's official X account named 'PMO Nepal ' has been inactive since last September 3 and Facebook account with the same name has updated the 'cover photo' on September 13 . This account has been inactive since then . Previous prime ministers have been operating this account . 

Out of the 9 ministries under Prime Minister Sushila Karkima, 3 ministries' social media accounts are active and 6 ministries' accounts are inactive. The account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Health, and Tourism under him is active . 

Ministry of Health's Facebook page has updated the post on October 6. But X account has been inactive since March 12 . The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' X account has updated the post on September 25 from , while has updated the post from Facebook on September 11 .
