Will the change of government and new elections only come as the Gen-Z generation says?

Apoorva Khatiwada, Deputy Professor of Tribhuvan University Faculty of Law and Advocate has commented that there is still ambiguity in some issues even after Gen-G rebellion.

In a detailed conversation with Kantipur, he said that only the formation of a new government and the holding of elections is not a mandated of the rebellion. He said , ' the work of this government is technically only to conduct elections, it doesn't sound like . When I see/understand the society in this way, when I listen to the stories, the people who are on the streets and lose their lives, just holding the election technically cannot be a mandate. A should be a political basis to ensure this constitutional change after tomorrow's election by creating an environment of political consensus. ' He also put forward the option of holding a referendum on some issues along with the House of Representatives elections. He said that if this is not done, then the same old parties will win the elections and there will be no fundamental changes in the constitution. He suggested, , '

- let's gather public opinion about the subject requested by Gen and based on its strength, let's have a mandate that the next government must amend the constitution . This will also lead to elections, and change will be institutionalized and the transitional period will end. ' He argued that if there is only a change of government and a new election, it will not bring about the change that the Gen -

G generation says. . He said , ' election is tomorrow. A new parliament comes. For a few years Federal Parliament Upper House National Assembly All the people of the old party. In the state assembly, also are their people. ' Advocate Khatiwada said that the desire for change was expressed from the streets and said that it cannot be addressed through elections alone. He questioned that nothing will change if a new government is formed in the same old style after the election and who will take charge of it if dissatisfaction gathers again. He said , '

the law did not change, technically the election was done, then it went to another, ultimate who will be responsible ? will it be the government's, the president's, the army's or ? Whose will be the ? He said that even if a new government is formed after the uprising, there is no guarantee of how the change will take place. He said that it is not possible to ban any

party in the present situation, , ' tomorrow UML - Congress - Maoist party won the election by alliance and if these changes are not accepted then what is the meaning of this movement and what is the justification ?' He said that the mandate of the

movement should not be by looking for it in the constitution and that is now a special and any legal or constitutional arrangements should be . If , '' and only , change is guaranteed. Read detailed conversation
