The dispute regarding the formation of the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court has been resolved. Now the Chief Justice is going to choose the judges for the constitutional bench.
Earlier, judges were appointed on the basis of seniority. But when the decision regarding the appointment to the constitutional commissions was decided differently from the opinion of the Chief Justice, questions were raised about the process of selecting judges.
Then Chief Justice Prakashmansingh Raut moved a proposal to appoint judges from the circle in the constitutional bench. But after senior judge Sapna Pradhan Mall and others disagreed with his proposal, there was an obstacle in the operation of the constitutional bench.
Now Chief Justice Raut himself is going to select four other judges for the formation of the Constitutional Bench. Chief Justice Raut said that there is no dispute now and the constitutional bench will operate regularly.
