Supreme Court order to proceed with investigation in Gaur murder case along with Upendra Yadav

The Supreme Court has issued an injunction to proceed with the investigation against the persons who have registered a complaint in the Gaur murder case, including the president of Janata Samajwadi Nepal, Upendra Yadav.

The joint bench of Justices Til Prasad Shrestha and Nityananda Pandey has ordered to proceed with the investigation in the murder case on Monday.

Tribhuvan Sah, a member of the victim's family of the incident, filed a writ in the Supreme Court. In this writ, the Supreme Court has issued a decree while pronouncing its verdict. After the Supreme Court informs the order or sends the full text of the judgment for implementation, the police should take the complaint and proceed with the investigation. This investigation report will reach the district court through the district attorney's office. 2063

27 people were killed in a clash between Forum and Maoists at Ricemill Chowr in Gaur. The family of the deceased received a compensation of 10 lakh rupees from the state after 9 months. The then Madhesi Janadhikhar Forum and the Maoist Madhesi Mukti Morcha had a clash on the same day on Chait 7, 2063 when they held a program at Gaur Rice Mill in Rautahat. 27 Maoist workers were killed in the incident.  113 people including former Madheshi Janadhikhar Forum leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav, former Assembly Speaker Baban Singh, former Madhesh State Assembly MP Babulal Shah have been involved in the Gaur murder

which killed 27 Maoist activists.
