Three former influential leaders of UML, Madh Kumar Nepal, Jhalnath Khanal and Vamdev Gautam, who have crossed 70 years of age, are under the same umbrella of the United Samajwadi Party. A tripartite conflict has started between these three leaders who played the role of president, general secretary, and vice president while in UML.

Even before Gautam joined Samajwadi Party, differences between Nepal and Khanal had already started. The hidden conflict between the two leaders surfaced after Gautham got involved. President Nepal (73 years old), Khanal (76 years old) and Gautam (77 years old) who have reached the 'mustache battle' between them, rather than political and ideological, has started to make the second level leaders fed up . General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal, who has the desire to start a new ideological movement, has to struggle to reconcile these leaders.

Gautam, who joined Samajwadi Party along with senior leaders, has started expressing his displeasure saying that he did not get a head of the organization department within a month. A meeting between Khanal and Gautam took place on Saturday while being dissatisfied with Nepal. After Khanal and Gautam started getting close, there was a dialogue between Nepal and Khanal on Saturday. After Khanal said that there was no reason to split the UML and form a new party, Nepal replied that it would be appropriate to leave the party. After the question-and-answer session between the two leaders, the leaders including General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal initiated dialogue between Nepal and Khanal. An agreement was reached between Nepal and Khanal not to answer questions in public after the meeting held at Party Central Office Suvidhan Nagar on Saturday. A leader said that Khanal corrected his speech in the meeting. Quoting Khanal's statement, a leader said, "I did not say that it was wrong to separate from UML." "Is it okay to tell me to leave the party?" to Khanal's question, President Nepal said, "Those who said it was wrong for me to revolt from UML said it would be better if I left the party." It is not a specific person.'

Khanal objected that the decision was made without his knowledge. He was interested in talking about party unity with Maoists. It is heard that there will be unity with the Maoists soon. Nepal proposed to unite the party in the recent meeting with Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Although the Maoist Standing Committee decided to unite the

party with the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netravikram Chand, it did not advance the proposal of unity with the Samajwadi Party.

According to information, the Standing Committee has been convened on August 25, the Politburo on August 26, and the Central Committee on August 27 and 28. The leaders said that the meeting was held to settle the tripartite conflict between Nepal, Khanal and Gautam.

Gautam will not be given the organization department

Vamdev Gautam, who has been included with the assurance of the senior leader of the United Socialist Party and the head of the organization department, will not be given the organization department . Currently, the vice president of the organization department, Beduram Bhusal, has been watching. An official said that if Gautam is made the head of the organization department, he is going to be given other responsibilities, suspecting that there may be activities against the president Madhav Kumar Nepal.
