Law Minister Chaurasia's challenge to MP Singh: If there is evidence against me, submit it

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ajay Kumar Chaurasia has objected to MP Amaresh Kumar Singh's allegation that he called the judges. Minister Chaurasia has also challenged to submit proof of such calls.

Answering the questions raised by MPs during the discussion on the allocation of the Ministry of Law for the next financial year, Minister Chaurasia challenged MP Singh to submit evidence.

Minister Chaurasia said that an investigation should also be conducted on how MP Singh came in contact with people in the justice sector. "Honorable parliamentarians should keep an eye on where he got such evidence when making any accusations." If there is any evidence against me, he would have submitted it . My call details are not the only ones. His call details can also be checked,' Minister Chaurasia said, 'This baseless and imaginary falsehood should not be accused in the Parliament . Any MP should consider whether that is true or not while speaking.'

Minister Chaurasia also said that judges were not appointed outside the constitution and laws. "I would like to inform you that judges have not been appointed beyond the constitution and laws." As the MP said, the new judge has not been appointed due to party's syndicate and party influence,' he said.

Minister Chaurasia also questioned whether it is possible to talk to the judge for legal consultation. MP Singh said in the House of Representatives meeting on June 5  The Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Chaurasia had accused the Supreme Court judge of making calls from the district. Singh had said, 'The mobile call details of leaders and judges should be made public . I have been hearing that the law minister calls a number of judges early in the morning if there is a case, if it is in the district, if it is in the high court, the chief judge and if it is in the Supreme Court, he calls the judge ? I want to demand that the call details of the Law Minister come out and why did he call the judge?'
