President of the ruling Janata Samajwadi Party and former minister Ashok Kumar Rai has said that party trade unions should not be kept in the civil service. Mentioning that he saw the perverted scene of Khardar taking joint secretaries to the houses of leaders to make them secretaries, Rai put forward the proposal that only official trade unions should be kept.
MP Rai expressed this opinion in Friday's meeting of the State Administration and Good Governance Committee. During the quarterly discussion on the bill to regulate the formation, operation and conditions of service of the federal civil service, he said that party trade unions should not be kept.
Rai said that those who are in the political party trade union do not work but abuse their power. "We should look at the matter of the trade union". I have seen with my own eyes that a Khardar led a joint secretary to become a secretary. I have seen them leading to the houses of the leaders,' he said, 'an official trade union should be kept.' In the
bill, contrary to the opinion of most of the MPs, under the pressure of the trade union leaders, the sub-committee chaired by Dilendra Prasad Badu has kept the provision of maintaining the existing trade union. The parliamentarians have been saying that a trade union like a fraternal organization of the political party of the state administrative staff should not be formed.
