Former Urban Development Minister and CPN Samajwadi Party leader Ramkumari Jhankri has said that her identity is the identity of her elders, friends, family and relatives.

She said this at the fifth edition of 'Nirvik Nari : Nari Shakti in Leadership' organized by Kantipur Media Group's Nari Magazine on Wednesday. 

'I had social consciousness three decades before today . That's how I felt about my commitment," she said in the first session of the program, "Invisible Obstacles", although success and failure are relative. During this time, the way my elders, friends and relatives know and understand me is my identity.'

She also recalled that her childhood was spent in a normal way because the economic situation was a material thing. "I studied till high school by burning kerosene, it took me three days to reach the headquarters," she said, "according to my age, I walked in Dhaka carrying heavy loads, I saw slippers on my feet when I reached class 6, I saw shoes when I came to the city." She also said that the Nepali youth who came from this situation and came to politics to change it.
