Mahimansingh Bista, a letter-cutting branch officer, has been taken into custody by the police to arrest Resham Chaudhary, the patron of Citizen Liberation Party (NAUPA) from the case branch of the Supreme Court. Bista was arrested by the team of the Kathmandu Police Complex and taken to the Supreme Court. He has been detained.
According to a member of the team that went to arrest him, Bista has stated that he wrote the letter because of the souls of the people who lost their lives in the Tikapur incident.
Bista, the branch officer of the Supreme Court's case and writ division, reversed the amnesty decision of President Ramchandra Poudel. Based on this letter, the police arrested Chaudhary from Nepal Pragya Pratishthan on Wednesday.
