The agitating teachers in Kathmandu have demanded that the School Education Act be promulgated even if it is through an ordinance. Speaking to News Agency Nepal during Thursday's demonstration, they said that the government should bring a new education law even if it is through an ordinance to fulfill their demands.

They said that the government did not even bring the school education bill to the House in the winter session. Teacher Bhupendranath Adhikari, who participated in the demonstration, demanded that they come for the change of the overall educational situation and that the Education Act should be promulgated immediately. He said that the upcoming Education Act should solve the problems of students, parents and teachers.

'We have come to change the overall educational situation. The Education Act should be promulgated. Due to lack of Education Act, education is being provided to different people in all 753 municipalities. It has been difficult to make it one and be governed by the Education Act of 2028. The current Education Act is not technology friendly. The coming Education Act should solve the problems of students, parents and teachers. Let us call the House from the streets and pass the Education Act," he said.

Teacher Shivlal Barali, who participated in the demonstration, demanded that the government issue a new education act even if it is through an ordinance. He said that the current Education Act has failed to improve public education and the new Education Act should come in a form that improves public education. "We have come to Maitighar to issue the new education law and for our teacher's rights and rights. The Education Act was outdated, it could not accommodate the new technology. There should be a technology-friendly education law that improves public education. The old law has not changed the current education. Let the government strictly follow the agreements reached with the government. Now, write letters in the upcoming Education Act faster than  A new education law should be issued soon. If the government wants to, it can issue the Education Act through an ordinance. We have come to exert pressure from the streets,' he said. 

Similarly, another teacher, Hemlal Ghimire, said that the agreement between the government and the teachers' federation has been reached several times and said that the agreement between the teachers' federation and the government should be implemented literally in the years 2075, 2078 and 2080. He says that a new education law is necessary for the sake of increasing the quality of education in the country and for the sake of skilled manpower staying in Nepal.

demonstration from Jumla demanded that the government bring the Education Act even if it is through an ordinance. He insisted that it is not impossible if the government wants. 'The government is showing helplessness. The Education Act can be brought through an ordinance. He said that he will come to the winter session. Even now, if the government wants, it can bring it through an ordinance in cooperation with the teachers' federation, he said.
