National Independent Party has concluded that the reason for taking action against the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, is that the government is under the chain of intermediary protection.
RSVP Acting General Minister Kavindra Burlakoti issued a statement on Tuesday opposing the decision to dismiss Ghising.
Monday's meeting of the Council of Ministers dismissed Ghising and appointed Hitendradev Shakya as the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority. The National Independent Party has drawn attention to the news that the government disgracefully sacked the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, who played a key role in freeing the Nepali people from the darkness of loadshedding for 18 hours a day.
It is the conclusion of RSWPA that action was taken against Ghising as part of the series of efforts made by the government to prevent the public servants who are trying to take the electricity authority to the path of financial strengthening and to protect the middlemen,' the statement said.
RASWPA believes that Ghising was prosecuted with the consent of the two-party system, which is not recognized by the constitution. "The National Independent Party is of the opinion that the general youth and conscious citizens are completely discouraged from doing something in the country due to such anti-people measures," the RSVP said.
