Janmat Party and Civil Liberties Party (Naupa) have started preparations for party unity. The two parties started the process of unification with the aim of uniting the new forces on the basis of ideas. In preparation for the same, a meeting was held between Janmat Chairman CK Raut and Naupa Patron Resham Chaudhary in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Chaudhary has also talked to 4 federal parliamentarians on this issue only on Thursday. However, Chowdhury said that a meeting of the Central Committee has been called on February 27 and 28 to discuss the agenda including party integration. Mentioning that the people are disappointed with the old parties, Choudhary said, 'We will go together with the new forces that meet the issues . We have prepared for unity as a party that has the issue of public opinion and the issue of identity. People are disappointed with the old parties . The central committee meeting decides about party integration and agenda.'

Similarly, public opinion has also called a meeting of the central working committee in Bardibas to discuss issues including party unity. Party General Secretary Chandan Singh said that the central working committee meeting to be held on February 25 and 26 will discuss issues including party unity. "Unity between the two parties has been prepared to strengthen the identity issue and federalism," said General Secretary Singh. He said that both the parties have started standing together to establish the rights of Tharu, Muslim, Madheshi, Dalit and others. He said, 'Some elements have started to be proposed to weaken the issue of federalism and identity. That's why it's time for the issue to be reconciled and the pro-identity forces to stand together.'

In the last House of Representatives elections, Civil Liberation Party won 4 seats directly and 1 seat by popular vote. Public opinion won 5 seats for Samnutik . There are 7 MPs from Naupa in the far west of the state. Similarly, there are 4 MPs in Lumbini and 1 MP in Madhesh. Similarly, Janmat has 13 MPs in Madhesh and 3 MPs in Lumbini. The 107-member Madhesh will remain as the fourth party in the state assembly with 14 MPs even after the merger. In the 87-member Lumbini State Assembly, Naupa and Janmat, who are in 5th and 6th place, will reach the fourth place . RP also has 4 MPs in Lumbini.
