Currently, there is an influence of western low pressure system in the country. Due to this, there is a possibility of light rain with lightning in some places of Koshi and Gandaki provinces today, according to the Weather Forecast Division of the Department of Water and Meteorology.
The weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of Karnali, Sudurpaschim and other parts of the country. According to the division, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder/lightning at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki.
There is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the highlands and Himalayan areas of the country and its effect may partially affect people's daily life, health, road and air traffic, so it is requested to take necessary measures and be cautious.
