An ordinance to amend the Cooperatives Act, 2074, the National Bank Act, 2058 and the Deposit and Credit Protection Fund Act, 2073 was passed by the Council of Ministers meeting on Tuesday. The Ordinance will come into effect after the President promulgates it.

An Azerbaijani passenger ship has crashed in Kazakhstan. The BBC reported that the ship with 62 passengers and 5 crew members crashed near the Aktau region of Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Emergency Services of Kazakhstan said that some people managed to survive the accident.
