Nepal has prepared to address four topics including climate finance at the World Conference on Climate Change (COP-29).

Sindhuprasad Dhungana, Head of the Climate Change Management Division of the Ministry of Forests and Environment, informed that the COP-29, which will be held in Baku on November 26 (November 11), will address the issues that Nepal is facing due to climate change.

In COP-29, Nepal is preparing to address the issues of climate change (loss and damage), climate finance (climate), mountains and climate justice (climate justice) as compensation for Nepal. 

'How much is the damage and losses suffered by Nepal due to climate change in the high-level conference to be held on November 27? The situation will be addressed," he said. Because climate change is not caused by us. He told that the head of state of other countries will present their views at the high-level conference to be held on that day. 

President Ramchandra Paudel will lead the delegation of Nepal at COP-29. In which Forest Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri will also participate. 

Nepal will participate in the opening session on October 26th (November 11) of COP-29. The ministry has informed that there is a program to be addressed by President Paudel on October 12 and 13 (November 12 and 13).

'We are a country with mountains. That's why you should listen a lot about the mountains. The effect of climate change is seen more in the mountains," he said. "We want Nepal to have easy access to climate finance. It should not be based on loans but in the form of grants. He said that climate finance should be not only multilateral but also bilateral.
