The Election Commission has designated the location of the Election Officer's office for the local level by-elections.
The Commission has made arrangements for the by-elections to be held on the 16th of November so that the election officer's office will be in the center of the local level where the by-elections will be held. According to the
commission, the office of the chief election officer or the election officer will be in the center of the local level for the election of vacant municipal chief and deputy chief and rural village chairman and vice chairman.
Similarly, Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Sapkota informed that the office of the chief election officer or the election officer will be located at the center of the respective ward for the election of the ward president only.
The commission is going to hold by-elections for 41 seats, consisting of 2 heads of the district coordination committee, 2 village presidents, 4 vice presidents, 10 ward presidents and 1 municipal mayor, 1 deputy mayor and 21 ward presidents.
