Senior journalist Kashamash Bishwakarma has said that the arrest of Kantipur Publications Limited Chairman Kailash Sirohia is a sign of resistance by Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane.

He made this comment on social network X . Looking at some cases of misuse of citizenship and passport, Kailash Sirohia does not seem to be arrested. "There will be further investigation into his citizenship dispute," he said, "but, looking at the series of reports published in Kantipur about the co-operative fraud, it seems that the home minister is seeking revenge, this is unfortunate."
