It has been confirmed that Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane embezzled not only Supreme Cooperative of Butwal, but also the savings of Suryadarshan Cooperative of Pokhara. The report prepared by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police stating that Lamichhane had taken money from Suryadarshan Cooperative was hidden by him after he became the Home Minister. However, the investigation committee formed by the Pokhara metropolis has also submitted a report with evidence that Lamichhane himself collected money from the cooperative by filling out the demand form.

When the case was filed last year for embezzlement of 1.35 billion Suryadarshan Sahakari, which has 18 thousand 700 savers, the police deliberately omitted the name of Lamichhane. However, after the victim saver filed a supplementary complaint on January 22 demanding investigation and justice, the CIB team reached Pokhara and started the investigation. The CIB submitted a report to the police headquarters for further investigation saying that 'suspicious borrowers' including Lamichhane had taken loans irregularly from Suryadarshan Cooperative. However, after Lamichhane became the Home Minister, the report was hidden.

After the Home Minister Lamichhane suppressed the report questioning him under the guise of power and power, the victim savers have been protesting demanding justice. Based on the demand of the victims, the Pokhara metropolis formed an investigation committee. The investigation committee has found evidence that not only Tamsuk was transferred from Suryadarshan Cooperative to Rs 30 crore when Lamichhane was the managing director of Gorkha Media Network Pvt. which is chaired by Gitendrababu (GB) Rai, Lamichhane also opened an account in his own name and took out a loan of Rs 1 crore from the cooperative. "For that, the loan form filled by Ravi Lamichhane was also found, which has been attached to the report," said Deepak Prakash Acharya, an expert member of the investigation committee.

Photocopy of the loan request form found during the financial analysis has been kept in the report. According to the demand of Ravi Lamichhane, one crore rupees has gone. Where did the money go? It is written in the report that on which date, from which check the money went,' he said.

Investigation committee of Pokhara metropolis and CIB's investigation have confirmed the same issue. In the CIB report, which was hidden after Lamichhane became the Home Minister, in the list of 87 'suspicious debtors' of Suryadarshan, Dipesh Pun, son of former Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, is at number 6 and 26, Ravi Lamichhane's name is at number 19, and Gitendrababu (GB) Rai's name is at number 21. Pun took 1 crore twice, Lamichhane took 1 crore through check and cash. Similarly, GB Rai has taken 300 crores from Surya Darshan to operate Gorkha Media Network and has separately said that he will give shares for that. Rai is absconding. Lamichhane, who is the Home Minister, has been taking a stand that he cannot be investigated. CIB's report has also clarified the details of the transaction in order to strengthen the report of the metropolis. It has been seen in the CIB investigation that a loan account number 01-001-116-0004456 and a savings account number 01-001-49-0007770 were opened in the name of Ravi Lamichhane and a loan of Rs. Lamichhane took 50 lakhs (Fifty Lakhs) from check number 2027221085 of the cooperative on June 6, 2078 through Gandaki Bikas Bank to Gorkha Media Network. In the same year, on June 9, the report also disclosed that 5 million was taken in cash. In the case of Ravi Lamichhane, it is written in the report, "It is mentioned that 50 lakhs went to Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd. and 50 lakhs were taken in cash, and a total of 10 crores was taken at an annual interest rate of 14.75.

is a mind-boggling amount The study committee also stated that the cooperative was in trouble after the savers started demanding refunds for those who had been embezzled and then the artificial accounts of the loans were reconciled. The money taken by Lamichhane was transferred to the name of Gorkha Media Network on 13 June 2080. The CIB report says, 'It seems that ownership of 13 million 88 thousand 736 rupees including loan, interest and service fee has been transferred to the name of Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd.'' Gurkha Media has just moved to the network. It is also clearly mentioned in the police report that instead of paying the debt, the Gorkha media network was used in the name of the debtor. It is said, 'No official document was found even regarding the transfer of the loan.' Thus, Lamichhane became the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs for the first time and became a candidate in Chitwan's by-election after being dismissed from the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court when the loan was being faked.

The police had issued arrest warrants against 19 people on August 24 last year for embezzling about 1.35 billion from Suryadarshan Cooperative. Soon after, Pokhara metropolis formed an investigation committee and prepared the first financial analysis report. In the report, it was revealed that Lamichhane had also taken a loan. Based on the complaint of the Metropolitan Municipality and the investigation of the District Police Office, the Public Prosecutor's Office filed a case in the district court on October 18, making 19 people including Gitendrababu (GB) Rai, the then chairman of Suryadarshan and chairman of Gorkha Media Network, as defendants.

The aggrieved saver filed a complaint against Lamichhane, who is also the president of the RASWP, Deepesh, son of Vice President Nandkishore Pun, Gyan Bahadur Bamjan, former president of the cooperative, debtor Netrapani Banstola, and 14 companies at the district police office on January 22, saying that the police had hidden the facts pointed out by the metropolis report. Based on this, a team consisting of representatives of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB), representatives of the District Police Office and representatives of the victims prepared a financial analysis report of Suryadarshan. The report was handed over by Pokhara Metropolitan Chief Dhanraj Acharya to District Police Office Kaski Deputy Superintendent of Police Basant Kumar Sharma.

The 3,419-page report is in 9 sections. It is mentioned in the report that the savings of 18 thousand 700 savers have been wasted and 433 are debtors. Metropolitan Chief Acharya expressed the hope that the report will facilitate the investigation of the police.

"We have asked to investigate so that no one is subjected to injustice, if there is a fault or weakness, no one escapes, the victim should get justice," he said.  Since

, Lamichhane has been claiming that he is not guilty based on the news in the newspaper, saying that there was no report/complaint against him in the cooperative case, and there was no investigation. According to his demand, the Attorney General's office has also handed over a letter with a plan to grant immunity to Lamichhane, saying that "there was no complaint/complaint, investigation and prosecution even when it was sent to Lamichhane in connection with embezzlement of the funds of the cooperative."

After a supplementary complaint was lodged with the Kaski police on 22nd of March 2080, the police headquarters sent a CIB team to Pokhara in the first week of February to conduct further investigation. The then CIB chief AIG Kiran Bajracharya sent police inspector and senior deputy inspector of police (Senior SAI) to Pokhara for investigation. CIB stayed in Pokhara for about two weeks and prepared a report after further investigation/study of the Suryadarshan Cooperative case.

The report prepared by the CIB has included 44 people including Lamichhane in the 'list of doubtful debts'. During the investigation based on the complaint of 1 thousand 35 savers, it was confirmed that he is the managing director of Gorkha Media Network, which is chaired by GB Rai, when the funds of the cooperative were transferred in the name of Lamichhane under the title of Puleso loan. By the time the case was investigated, he left Galaxy and formed the National Independent Party and became the Speaker, Member of Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs after being dismissed and became a Member of Parliament again. However, since he is the Home Minister again, the CIB report has been hidden.

Apart from Suryadarshan, Lamichhane's name is also in the charge sheet in the Supreme Cooperative fraud case of Butwal. Lamichhane, who is also the Home Minister, has not been charged by the police even though it is clearly mentioned that he personally transferred 20 million and 140 million to Gorkha Media Network, of which he is the managing director, without any collateral or process. The Public Prosecutor's Office Rupandehi filed a case in the district court on April 3 following the complaint filed by the victim/savior on March 1. In the indictment, it is mentioned that Lamichhane took an unsecured loan and embezzled the co-operative's money even after paying the installments. However, the police have not even questioned Lamichhane.

In the indictment presented in the Rupandehi District Court, it is stated in item number 8 under the title of debtor's name and account number, '2,00,00,000 (two crores) business loan was approved in the name of Ravi Lamichhane and 1,96,00,000 (one crore Ninety Six Lakhs) Gorkha Media Network Pvt Ltd Account No. 04010100005777 has been found documents that appear to be deposited in Global IME Bank.'  The same conclusion of Pokhara metropolis and CIB report: Lamichhane's involvement in the embezzlement of Suryadarshan Cooperative's savings is also confirmed through documents.

It is mentioned in the report that after deducting service fee of Rs. "The loan has been invested in the name of Ravi Lamichhane, a savings member of the organization, without completing any process," said the report. The main opposition Congress has been blocking Parliament by demanding a parliamentary inquiry, saying that Lamichhane had embezzled funds from cooperatives including Suryadarshan and Supreme. The winter session came to an end while the Congress was still in limbo. The budget session is starting on Friday.
