Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava has said that the recent change in the power equation is an internal matter of Nepal.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Srivastava said that India will not change its attitude towards Nepal from the power equation while meeting the newly appointed Finance Minister Varshman Pun at the Ministry at Singhdarbar on Thursday.

'The change in the power equation is an internal matter of Nepal,' Srivastava said in a meeting with Finance Minister Pun, 'That's why I want to inform you that there is no change in India's attitude towards Nepal.'

India's relationship with the government led by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is good. Srivastava said that it has been going on and will continue in the future as well, according to Finance Minister Pun's secretariat.

Srivastava stated that the relationship between Nepal and India is fundamental and promised that the relationship between the two countries will remain as good as in the past. He said that the two countries should work continuously for cooperation and investment with mutual trust.
