Buchan, who is living in a poor house after losing a relative, is having difficulty taking care of his sick wife and even supporting his minor children.
Support has been provided to Buchan Sada, 33, of Sada Tol, Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality-5, Saptari, who has lost three family members one after another due to lack of treatment and is facing problems even with household expenses.
After the matter became public, the extremely poor Buchan is having difficulty in providing for his 3 and 5-year-old daughters and 8-year-old son and getting his wife treated. Suryajyoti Life Insurance Company Limited, the rural municipality and various individuals have also helped.
They reached Buchan's house on Tuesday evening and provided cash assistance. Chandradev Yadav, manager of the insurance branch Rajbiraj, has provided one quintal of rice, 50 kg of potatoes, 10 kg each of gram dal, gram, onion, sugar, salt and bhuja and 10 liters of cooking oil along with 21 thousand in cash.
Similarly, one packet of papad, half a kilo of cumin, one steel bucket, top, plate, glass, bowl, dadu and panyu, one blanket, two dasnas, saree, pillow, gamchha, bedsheet, dhauti, one carton of apples, one bunch of bananas, one umbrella and clothes for the poor living in the kiriya have also been provided. With the aim of providing some relief to the affected family, immediate assistance of Rs 60,000 along with cash has been provided, said Meghendra Prakash Giri, Branding Head of the Insurance.
The diarrhea that started in Buchan's house on Kartik 2 after he reached Punjab, India to work as a laborer, resulted in the deaths of his one-year-old son Sanjeev on Kartik 6, his 66-year-old father Laxman on Kartik 11, and his 4-year-old daughter Ragini on Kartik 14.
