26-year-old Luna Luintel has been declared Miss Nepal 2025. In the 31st edition of Miss Nepal organized by the organizing organization The Hidden Treasure, Luna beat 25 contestants and won the crown of Miss Nepal World.

Miss Nepal World 2024 Ashma Kumari KC crowned Luna as Miss Nepal World 2025. Luna, who is also a scuba diver, went to Australia at the age of 17. She studied nursing there . Luna, a postgraduate student in Public Health from the University of Sydney, previously became the first runner-up of Miss Teen in 2015. Luna believes in the concept of 'Learn Earn and Return'.  In the

competition, Deepshikha Nepal became the first runner-up with the crown of 'Miss Nepal Cosmo'. Urusha Bhandari became the runner-up and won the crown of 'Miss Nepal International' in the grand finale of Miss Nepal held at Godavari Sunrise Convention Center on Saturday. She will represent Nepal at Miss International in Japan. Similarly, Soni Ghale was declared 'Miss Nepal Earth 2025' in the competition.

For other titles, Pragyanika Chhetri won the title of 'Miss Confident'. Urusha Bhandari won two titles simultaneously by 'Miss Timeless Elegance' and 'Real Miss Popular Choice'. While Saichha Thapa won the title of 'Dabur Batika Miss Beautiful Hair', Aarti Thapa got the title of 'Miss Healthy Skin'.

Similarly, Jagdishwari Shah got the title of 'BW Miss Green Visionary' and 'Enbio Miss Pristine' fell to Priyanka Thapa . In the same event, Luna Luintel won the title of 'Miss DHI', Deepshikha Nepal won the title of 'National Life Miss Empowered Choice' and Smriti Shrestha won the title of 'Pharmacy Face of the Year 2025'. Along with this, Smriti also managed to win the title of Miss Photogenic.

Similarly,  Shrishtikumari Tamang won the 'Ncell Miss Beauty with Purpose'. Sruthi Maharjan won the title of 'Kathmandu Post Miss Intellectual'. Nilima Pandey won the title of 'Yati Woman with Wings'. In the

competition, the top 12 are initially selected . Then there was a question and answer competition. The top 12 answered the questions posed by the judges . Similarly, the last top four had to write and recite the answer to the given question . Urusha Bhandari, Luna Luintel, Soni Ghale and Deepshikha Nepal, who were selected in the top 4, were asked the same question by the organizers. "If you could change one perception about beauty pageants, what would it be and why?" the beauty queens answered with different ideas.  The jury of the

competition consists of Ajay Ratna, President of The Hidden Treasure, Miss Nepal World 2018 Series Khatiwada, Himalaya Television President Shyam Kandel, Actress Ana Sharma, Kantipur Media Group CEO Mahesh Swaran, Areta Public Relations CEO Ruchi Pandey, Cymex CEO Shahil Shrestha, Miss Nepal Earth 2018 Priya Sigdel, Mr. Nepal 2023 Samarpan Jung Karki, Dr. Shristhi Shrestha Prajapati, designer was Manish Rai. At the end of the

competition, Deepshikha and Luna were placed facing each other . She has been announced as the winner of Miss Nepal 2025.

Miss Nepal My childhood dream: Luna

I am having a very surreal experience right now. What reality, what dream is happening. I think, now I am in a time between dreams and visions. When I see this crown, when I see the flower of the hand, I want to thank the Universe. I would also like to thank my family. I want to thank the trainers and teachers who trained me. 

I did it at the school level school. Completed 12th in Global Management. When I went to Australia at the age of 17, I had to live with an Australian family. When I turned 18, I lived with my uncle for 3 years. After that, staying in Australia became as easy as home. I never felt that I was away from home. And I studied nursing after doing management here. Before that I did a one year extra foundation course. Then I studied nursing for 3 years. Now I am doing master.
